Day 7- A day on the beach! (last day in Guatemala) :(

Hey Guys! Hope your enjoying the blogging!

So this is probably the last time we will write to you before we are back in the states! i’m sure we’ll add to it when we get back, but it’s now Friday morning around 7 am here and we won’t get back to town until after the cafe is closed tonight. So for todays agenda we are eating breakfast at freddy’s again and then taking a 2 and a half hour van ride to the pacific coast! It should be very fun and a nice time to get a little R & R on our last day here! I’m sure when we get back we’ll all be wiped, and we then we have to pack before leaving for the airport at 4a.m.!! So we have another long day with a couple of transfers ahead of us! Thanks to everyone who has followed our travels along the way, and we are all excited to see you and tell you everything about it when we get back! Hasta Luego!!

Wouldn’t it be great if this type of spring break was the norm and not the “alternative”. I think we would have a more peaceful and just world. Glad to know at least a committed group from Oshkosh will come back with new perpectives on many aspects of life, and I’m sure make positive impacts wherever life takes you all.

I agree with Wendy..your trip is the “real” spring break trip and echo her sentiment about the impacts you 10 will make.

Have a safe trip home all of you, can’t wait to see you on Sunday Bry. I would imagine it is sad leaving something you have been so immersed in for the week but I know it will impact your life and your future goals. Congratulations to all of you. I am going to miss this daily blog.

Thanks for ‘taking me along’ on your ASB trip – it was great to read about your experiences. Sounds like there are some coffee experts back in Oshkosh now!
